are pleased to announce that on March 11, 2002 Takayama Reed
Co., Ltd. of Kanazawa, Japan and ChangZhou Reed of ChangZhou,
China signed an agreement establishing a new joint venture company.
The firm’s name will be “ChangZhou Yuehao - Takayama
Reed Co., Ltd.” Its main business activity will be the
production and sales of tunnel reeds for air jet looms and other
reeds for high-speed, shuttleless weaving applications. Paid-up
capital is US$ 1,200,000.00. Takayama Reed holds a 25% interest
in the new venture, and ChangZhou Reed holds the remaining 75%.
The factory will have a production capacity of 6,000 meters
of tunnel reed per month. Located on 33,000 square meters of
property in hangZhou, China, anticipated completion of the facilities
is targeted for August of this year. |
